Nithre

This is Nithre, a female wraith and Malroc's second-in-command, in my RAVAGE AND REQUIEM series. Rather than brandishing a traditional scythe, Malroc tends to wear Nithre like a scarf while she coils around him like a python, acting as an animated weapon; you can notice the two sickle blades jutting from her head through her hood.

Nithre's preferred method of combat is to assail her victims by stealth in their nightmares or sometimes during "sleep paralysis," causing many to question their entire perception of reality, steadily driving them insane until they breathe their last; this is very similar to the tactics of Dather, the quilled shadow bird and fellow confidant of Malroc. Nithre can take multiple forms, including masquerading as a human in order to infiltrate.

I've included two pieces of concept art so far for Nithre. The image below shows a more slender version of her abdominal portions and scorpion-like vertebrate tail mostly veiled in shadowy flames.
