Malroc, the High Lich

This is Malroc, known as the High Lich, in my RAVAGE AND REQUIEM novel series. Essentially the grim reaper of Raktogin and Drixilo's confidant, Malroc is as mysterious and shrewd as he is grotesque and horrifying, appearing to the souls of the damned at the moment of their death and dragging them down into the Nevarifta, the underworld.

Instead of brandishing a traditional scythe, he has an accomplice, Nithre, a serpent-like female wraith and Malroc's second-in-command. Together, they govern an army of hideous cloaked specters known as reavers. The "oc" suffix in Malroc's name distinguishes himself as a Dranixile, one of five archdemons among the ranks of the Drixiles.
